The estimating department handles quantity take-offs and pricing throughout all stages of plan design and job construction including new projects as well as changes to existing and on-going projects.  In house expertise in design and construction allow us to not only take-off and price completed drawings, but provide assistance in design and budgeting resulting in value engineering ideas that produce better built projects with significant cost savings.

Utilizing the latest technologies allows us to quickly turn around projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.  These technologies include the capability to plot drawings in house from a variety of different electronic file types received via email, CD or internet.  This gives our clients an inexpensive and time saving way to provide project documents.  Software utilized by our estimating department includes Trimble’s Paydirt SiteWork, RoadWork and Terramodel programs as well as HCSS’s HeavyBid.  Trimble’s suite of programs give us the ability to produce fast, accurate and customizable quantity reports while HeavyBid not only gives us the industry’s top estimating program but also allows us to quickly and easily move estimates into HCSS’s HeavyJob project management program.
